Writing memoir is a way to sort out who you used to be and how you got to be who you are. Memoir is not just ‘what happened’, it’s the meaning you make of it.
Whether you are writing to publish, or writing for friends and family, shape your writing into memoir that is compelling and lively, insightful and engaged.
This 3 hour workshop will focus on specific creative and practical aspects of writing memoir, utilizing instruction, writing prompts and facilitated, constructive feedback of student work. Students can bring a memoir idea or a work in progress.
